Rate: £300 - £325 per Day Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Technical Author Technical Author required to join my client, a leading software house in Horsham on an initial 6 month contract. You will be required to produce user manuals, technical publications reference guides and release notes to support the sales of their pharmaceutical product suite. Experience Required. Proven technical writing background. Background in computing technology. Familiarity with FrameMaker. Working in an Agile development environment Desirable Experience. Writing for a pharmaceutical environment. Adobe Acrobat. Markup languages: HTML, XML. Graphic Capture and Manipulation - Paint Shop Pro You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a global working environment. You should have the ability to listen and interpret technical actions in a non-technical manner and should be able to work well under pressure. An understanding of clinical/pharmaceutical terminology would be an added advantage. As stated this is an initial 6 month contract with a day rate from £300 - £325.
