Provide senior-level conceptualization and design of highly visible and innovative collateral and advertising. Collaborate on internal creative brainstorm sessions. Continually strive to create superior design and keep in tune with current design trends. Essential Functions: Review and collaborate on all new concepts and major campaigns with the Creative Director from concept through production Work as team member with copywriters and MarCom staff (project managers) Consult and problem solve with internal and external printing shops and other vendors Design the highest level of creative projects Assist the Production Manager in guiding projects to completion Collaborate with all internal departments to create enticing and innovative collateral Develop, implement, and communicate consistent style and production guidelines that address, adhere, and expand upon existing brand specifications Provide direction and/or assistance to other graphics staff members when required Present designs and concepts that accurately address marketing objectives Minimum Job Qualifications and Technical Competencies: Four-year degree in Graphic Design and/or related field with six to ten years of professional design experience is required, specifically designing for B2B, retail, and corporate marketing programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience An 'Agency' background will be a plus Exceptional creative skills and marketing knowledge are desirable Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products is required Knowledge of Quark Xpress and Microsoft Office is also desirable The ability to work independently and handle many projects simultaneously is essential Excellent people skills and flexibility in dealing with changing schedules and multiple points of view Strong typography, color theory, corporate identity, and branding understanding is required Advanced working knowledge of Macintosh/PC computer platforms Comprehensive understanding of print production and new methods Excellent presentation skills are required
