Provides business and healthcare related analysis and research for members of the senior leadership team of the Government Healthcare Solutions division, specifically in the areas of Healthcare Reform, Health Information Exchange (HIE), Eligibility, and fiscal agent Medicaid system operations support. Government Healthcare Specialist Intern - Day-to-day responsibilities include: Work with internal teams to help execute LOB-specific programs and initiatives Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related studies, and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses Research and analyze regulatory impact of PPACA and HiTech Act Build opportunity assessment model for GHS and identify new business opportunities from this analysis Develop white paper and communication vehicles Research Healthcare Markets and perform mapping analysis to current GHS products and services Provide support as needed to members of the senior leadership team Requirements Bachelor's degree Currently enrolled in a university working towards a MBA/MHA/MPH degree Must be a proficient writer (writing that reflects a professional business tone and is free of grammatical and spelling errors) Ability to write in different tones (eg professional, marketing material, PR, etc.) Must be comfortable with flexibility - this person will assume a number of different - often unrelated - tasks Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision All other duties as assigned.
