As the Media/Graphics Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky, your responsibilities will include: Supports the creation and editing of graphic work of graphics projects of all sizes, with a focus on quality customer satisfaction May lead small to medium graphics projects up to $30k. Assists senior level staff with the evaluation of graphics requests and scoping/estimating coding requirements for difficulty, resources, and time Collaborates with internal and external graphics resources as necessary to complete one or more requests Participates in defining requirements, researching, evaluating, and selecting hardware/software/toolsets for use in the development and production of E-learning deliverables, including video production, graphic manipulation, and graphic creation tools Uses the appropriate client approved toolsets and technology standards to create, modify, and animate static graphics, develop and enhance simulations, games, and interactive content, and design and develop video clips for use in training content, with guidance from senior level team members Collaborates with Training Developers to create and modify web content for Training Web site and catalog Works with print vendors to manage, control, and distribute print media in support of systems implementations Participates in technical requirements and design sessions and contributes to the design application solution in support of the current and future training strategy Communicates and shares progress of development tasks with development team members and solicits feedback on an ongoing basis Advises and mentors less experienced Media and Graphics Specialists Continually builds competencies and enhances knowledge and awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen the project, team, and organizational knowledge and to aspire to the next level As the successful applicant, you will possess the following requirements: Current working knowledge of standard Office applications Thorough understanding of Windows, browsers, network bandwidths Capable of working independently and delivering appropriate feedback to management as required Able to effectively manage a large number of concurrent tasks or projects Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10 This role requires applied knowledge and capabilities in demonstrating intermediate level skills with current Graphics and Media creation and editing tools and methodologies, including: Object Oriented programming methods Scripting standards, including current web Scripting languages Visual/interface design, motion graphics and user interface design Programmatic animation (using code, rather than an application) Web development and publishing tools, methodologies, and languages Current graphics, audio and video formats (eg, FLV, GIF, JPEG, PNG, SVG, TIFF, BMP, MPEG, AVI, etc.) Multimedia authoring, integration, editing and software design tools Graphic, animation, audio, video, and simulation
