Location = Stamford, CT. 6+ Month Contract position We seek an 2 outstanding Full time Front End Developers to work on an advanced enterprise Client Server application that utilizes modern technologies. You will work in a rapid development environment where results are quickly visible. You must be a team player and have the ability to work independently without requiring micromanagement. Good communication skills and the ability to listen are also a must. You will write Front End code for robust enterprise level applications. You should also have a strong understanding of Action Script and JavaScript development. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in advanced technologies for client application development, server based application development. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related discipline or equivalent work experience. Graduate Degree a plus. 3-5 years core JavaScript experience 1-3 years ActionScript development experience 1-3 years Flash/flex development experience 3-5 years consumer-facing Web applications 1-3 years experience using XML, Web Services, SOAP Knowledge of video encoding systems, streaming technologies and compression Ability to troubleshoot and debug complicated systems and workflows Understanding of Object Oriented concepts, design patterns, and various open-source toolkits and frameworks Knowledge of source revision control (Perforce, SVN, CVS, etc) Familiarity with all aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) Ability to plan, work and report through self-initiative HTML/CSS and various implications of supporting multiple browsers Preferred Skills: JavaScript architecture experience a major plus HTML5 and any mobile development experience a plus Experience with Adobe AIR JQuery experience Any graphic creation/visual design skills a plus Experience with .NET or JAVA Familiarity with Oracle or Microsoft SQL General Server knowledge (IIS) Please send Resume.
