Our client has a part time contractor position for a Flash Developer in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Responsibilities Include: Develop interactive objects in Flash from storyboard/script with text, voice, sound, and graphics that will be used in dynamic E-learning courseware Work as part of a team of instructional designers, subject matter experts, and developers to create instructional components Create and assemble assets and reach project milestones with overall consistency and high level of quality Quality testing on course files for accuracy, design, and standards compliance (SCORM standard) Organize and manage E-learning media files on department's file sharing software Candidates must be skilled in Flash animation and ActionScript 2, with a portfolio demonstrating this experience. Requirements: Resourceful, creative approach to Flash development Proven experience working in a fast-paced software development environment Experience in character and object design and animation using Flash Experience in visual thinking and the ability to design complex information into meaningful and understandable visual structures Audio experience, including recording and editing, with a background in voiceover narration and/or music is desirable Experience with Web development, editing HTML & XML files Excellent illustration and graphic design skills, with portfolio demonstrating experience Character design and animation skills strongly desired Strong visual thinker with the ability to conceptualize complex systems and design information in a simple, elegant approach Experience with Macromedia Flash development environment/SWF files Strong knowledge of ActionScript 2 for Flash applications At least two years professional experience with electronic file/document management Customer service experience required Analytical thinker and excellent communication skills with clients and co-workers Attention to detail, highly organized, and strong work ethic Methodical and comfortable with following and documenting step-by-step procedures Microsoft Powerpoint, Access, Excel, Word skills Art direction experience in a team environment is highly desired Ability to work under aggressive deadlines Self-motivated and responsible Fast, resourceful learner Experience with E-learning courseware development desired
