Our client is currently seeking a Graphic Designer I. Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior designers as well as usability, development, and business teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic solutions to build a superior customer experience Produce sketches, graphics, templates, layouts, themes, typography, and visual standards for merchandising or promotion throughout the retail web process Provide and manage design documentation, style guides, and specifications Proactively manage time and deadlines Basic Qualifications: An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating visual branding, online marketing, and great user-centered design solutions At least one year experience in designing for high-end retail web sites Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, and graphics file creation optimized for the web Proficiency in a variety of design tools particularly Photoshop and Illustrator Preferred Qualifications: Design degree and/or 4-year college degree preferred The ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash Illustration skills and/or Flash, JavaScript, and DHTML experience a plus
