Requisition ID: 18826BR Job Title: Bilingual RFP Coordinator Division: Canada Business Unit: - Business Function: Administrative Country: Canada - Ontario City: Hamilton Job Description: The RFP Coordinator is responsible for managing the coordination of Stryker's RFP(request for proposal) process. This includes working with sales representatives to help spearhead internal documentation requests, pricing strategy, and signature fulfillment. The coordinator will also be involved in the maintenance of accurate records of RFPs, which includes quotations and value-adds. This position involves the day-to-day coordination and ownership of the strategy behind our RFP, RFI and RFQ proposals. It requires close interaction with the sales, marketing, and management teams. The RFP Coordinator will also assist with ERP system pricing entry and maintenance related to customer pricing agreements. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Finance team while championing Stryker's Vision, Promise and Mission. Individual Responsibilities: - Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation - Responsible to live and drive Stryker's five success factors: Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results Functional Responsibilities: - Review RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, with internal stakeholders, and manage the proposal response process - Work with sales management teams to create an RFP response that is comprehensive, professional and consistent. Outsource with graphic vendors to create template if desired - Advise sales and sales management of value add/contractual rights and obligations and provide clarification of contract terms and conditions - Organize strategic meetings with Directors, marketing and sales to align profitability and value adds in a timely manner to ensure financial sign-off - Develop a good understanding of key purchasing groups and our quotations from coast to coast to strategically align for future RFP's - Responsible for document generation and assembly - Lead collaborative initiatives with cross-business franchise RFP's - Ensures the secure storage and filing of all RFP's and keep record of quotations and value add commitments, and win/loss scoreboard - Customer pricing entry and maintenance in ERP system - Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications/Work Experience: Working knowledge of contract terminology, practices and concepts, or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire working knowledge of similarly complex areas of knowledge - Demonstrated ability to apply strong organizational and time management skills in the context of a complex, high volume work load - Experience with technology-based tools and processes and demonstrated ability to learn and employ new technology applications - Strong service ethic and the ability to succeed in a highly service-oriented environment - Exceptional leadership ability, with a proven
