Job Order: J0212-1036 - Permanent Full Time Title: Senior Graphics Artist Category: Information Technology City: Fairfax, Virginia, United States Job Description: Senior Graphics Artist CGI is seeking a highly experienced senior-level Graphic Artist to join our U.S Markets proposal center in Fairfax, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, talented graphic artist/designer to contribute to a dynamic and fast paced team charged with developing proposals and sales collateral for business groups across the U.S. Responsibilities include: - Working with subject matter and technology experts to develop graphic concepts - Establishing graphics standards and styles - Designing and developing complex proposal graphics and related visual materials using the Adobe Creative Suite - Developing cover art - Developing three-dimensional images to support proposals and presentations - Designing and developing graphics associated with internal and external communications - Supporting proposal production activities - Developing dynamic presentation components using Flash or similar technology The successful candidate will have the following attributes and Skills: - An exceptional sense of design, color, and visual impact - Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to prioritize work and respond quickly to changes - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines - Strong written and verbal skills - Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (CS5) or higher, and leading three-dimensional software rendering applications - Strong command of design principles and standards Minimum criteria for this position include 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, a BS degree in Graphic Design or similar curriculum, 3+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications. Experience developing graphics for technical subjects, and supporting sales and proposals efforts is highly desirable. At CGI, we're a team of builders.
