ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the VP Marketing, this position will manage a line of product brands and assist with full product life cycle from strategy to execution, merchandising, promotions (direct mail, web content, trade shows and collateral), supply chain, analytics and forecasting, product packaging, pricing and long term product evolution. Assist VP Marketing with the entire product line life cycle Identify & Assess Product Opportunities within the housewares industry. Update key product launches in annual calendar, plan strategy using financial analysis of existing business and trends in market place. Develop & research key category issues, pricing and strategy including in-depth testing of competitive products. Create project time-line, align with key launch dates and sales retail sell-in periods. Evaluate new product launches based on customers, industry analyst, sales & marketing staff and your own knowledge of the market. Then decide which product ideas are worth pursuing and which are not. Defining the right product at the right time based on your knowledge of the company's ability to execute new product launch. Develop & execute product strategy road maps by channel. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key members of the team (Designers, Engineers, Product Development and Graphic's department). Present New Product Ideas to Executive Management & Sales & Marketing Organization. Work with sales teams to ensure that the right level of information is distributed at the right time to the right people within the developmental process. Manage brand merchandising and develop new merchandising options across all channels. Strong analytical abilities, SKU management. Packaging and supply chain coordination. Oversee special projects where needed. Participate in customer presentations when needed. Present weekly product development status. Perform SKU rationalizations on all products. Work within established budgets Collaborate internally to set planograms and presentations for key customer presentations. Internally communicate project & its progress with relevant internal teams, including buildup to launch.
