Flash/Flex/AS3 Developer Games Development/Gaming - Manchester The Client My client is a well known Games Development company based in Manchester, as well as offices worldwide. They have been established for a number of years, whilst recently collaborating with other publishers and development houses to create the most cutting edge of Flash-games. You will be working in a professional environment that offers a relaxed atmosphere and individuality is encouraged. Flash Developer The Role You would be working in a team of high calibre Flash Developers, focusing on creating premium Flash based games. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, whilst continually demonstrating innovative approached to solving problems. You will be expected to take into account the game's performance whilst recognising the need for consistency with my client's existing protocols and technology. Flash Developer Required Skills: Flash AS3 and OOP (Object Oriented Programming). Any other OOP programming languages beneficial (JAVA, C, C++ or Objective C). Real passion for creating games Commercial experience using Flash (or an individual portfolio) Must be a strong team player Flash Developer Beneficial Skills (Not Essential but advantageous): HTML5 Server-based technologies (XML, PHP, SQL) Previous experience developing games Educated to degree level (or equivalent), if not strong portfolio Multimedia, Animation or Graphic Design Skills In return you can expect to receive a generous and achievable bonus system, genuine career progression and multiple other benefits.
